Work Experience Placements

Secondary Schools and Colleges

UPDATE: Please note we have already filled our work experience placements for students from Bohunt, Collyer's, Millais and Tanbridge House schools, as part of their school-sponsored work experience weeks in 2026.

I partner with local schools in the Horsham constituency to offer short-term placements as part of school-sponsored work experience programmes. If you are interested in gaining work experience in my office, please complete a Work Experience Application and email it to me at john.milne.mp@parliament.uk.

I am unlikely to be able to host any work experience placements from students not living in the Horsham constituency or attending a school outside of local school catchment boundaries.

Work Experience Placements

School Leavers, University Students and Recent Graduates

From time to time I may be able to provide longer term (less than three months), unpaid work experience placements in my constituency office in Horsham. Priority will be given to Horsham constituents or those with a strong Horsham connection.

Internships

UPDATE: Unfortunately, there are no current opportunities and we are not accepting any further applications or expressions of interest at this time.

From time to time I may be able to provide paid internships of three months or longer in my offices in Westminster or Horsham. These internships will also be advertised and listed on the W4MP Job website. Priority will be given to Horsham constituents or those with a strong Horsham connection.

Volunteers

I welcome volunteers in my office who would like to assist with clerical and other activities to help me engage with constituents. If you are interested in volunteering on a regular basis, please complete the volunteer form on the Horsham Liberal Democrats website.
